A three-day event focusing on products, solutions and education to protect the state’s built environment is being held from June 18 to 20 at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
SEE Sustainable Experience will bring together industry experts, government representatives and innovative building companies in an exciting industry expo combined with an educational seminar series.
Seminars and Q&A sessions on 19 June will see representatives from the likes of Master Builders Queensland, Lend Lease, HIA, Australian Institute of Architects, Brickworks, Building Designers Association Queensland, and Economic Development Queensland.
“This is a great opportunity for those interested in the future of our built environment to hear from leaders in the field,” show director, Cameron Rosen said.
He added that the three-day show is an important event on Queensland’s construction calendar – especially as the rising cost of energy, coupled with erratic weather, can present difficulties.
“These unique challenges become opportunities for those that have the knowledge to create sustainable built environments that go beyond energy consumption and provide healthy spaces in which to live, work, and play,” he said.
Another key presentation at the event will be from the founder and president of Mythic Paint, a non-toxic, VOC-free paint.
There will also be sessions focusing on building materials, sustainable design, insulation, HVAC and more.
