Announcing a range of all-new tools and accessories, the three-day 2015 Milwaukee Power Tools product symposium 14-16 October, attended by TTT, showcased many exciting new products coming over the next six months.
Included was Milwaukee’s new 9 Amp Hour ‘High Demand’ Red Lithium ion battery, along with second generation FUEL (Milwaukee’s battery-switch-brushless motor combo), ForceLogic cylindrical press tool system for plumbing and electrical, and One Key, a Bluetooth system built into tools for monitoring and inventory management.
Milwaukee National Marketing Manager, Marcus Monch said: “Milwaukee’s not just a player within the power tools space, we’re a player in the accessories space, the lighting space and also the hand tools space.”.
Monch said the company is launching around 100 new hand tools over the coming months.
“We are bringing so much new product to market,” he said, describing many of those products as world firsts.
“We’ve got the accessories division where we’re showcasing all of our new Shockwave – the Holedozers (Milwaukee hole saws), the SDS Max and a really nice lighting area and we’re really trying to cut the cord on the jobsite with halogen and push the boundaries of what we can do with LED.”
Other products showcased at the event included new, fast-braking angle grinders, SDS-max rotary hammers, and Milwaukee’s large range of 12v as they push heavily into the automotive space.
