RECALL: safety concerns with Hard Yakka 3056 work boots.


Hard Yakka 3056 Workboot RecallTwo styles of Hard Yakka 3056 work boots (pictured) are being recalled due to concerns that their safety toe caps may present a crushing hazard to the toes as they do not meet Australian Standards.

The AS/NZS 2210.3 impact test standard requires 200 joules impact resistance for occupational protective footwear.

The recall notice states that “If a person experiences a heavy item falling on the top of the boot, it may pose a crushing hazard to the toes.”

The boots were sold nationally between 30 September 2015 and 9 May 2016 at a variety of safety and workwear stores.

Nubuck uppers – wheat and black

Wheat Nubuck = Style Number Y60063
Black Nubuck = Style Number Y60064

What to do: Customers should immediately cease using the boots and return them to their place of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price.
